Present-day Christendom in its ecumenical and apostate form and character, sadly portrays the church Christ referred to as the "Lukewarm, wretched, Blind, Naked and Poor". Let us take a quick look at the way each church was addressed by the risen Savior as expressed the Revelation chapters 2 and 3. Notice how these seven churches characterized and represented the historical development of Christianity in the matters of authority for faith and practice.
